Ladies & Gentlemen,
It is not often that you have a technology conference with such a line up of superstars and icons of the industry. I will attempt to place each video on Allthings as they become available for your viewing experiance.
I know this much. I will be attending next year’s conference if my health permits. Me and Kevin had no idea of this blog AllthingsD.Com when we chose our name for Allthings .TV. We are glad though that if we have a similar name, it should be so similar to such as prestigious organisation.

Moss Waltberg and Steve Ballmer have not always seen eye to eye over the years and that comes across plain and clear. But there is no denying Walt being impressed by the very scary capabilities this new product has.

Some of our viewers will remember a quick article I wrote on Fora.tv a while back. Alright, it wasn’t so much an article, more a quick announcement of what a fully developed .tv site can look like. A good idea, great content and a superior website development team are the essential ingredients needed to produce a site of this quality.
Notice if you will, the lack of “bling” to the site, but the obvious class of the content is all too apparent.
The above video is a prime example of such content, a video debate between Al Sharpton and Christopher Hitchens on the recent publication by Mr Hitchens of his controversial book “God is not great, How religion poisons everything..”

Well folks, having just launched our BrightCove channel, we decided that we would use it for our blogcasts too. Feel free to embed the interview in your own blogs and websites.
I do have to apologise for the sound quality in some parts of the interview. We are doing our homework on getting the best audio equipment possible as quickly as possible, but we want to make sure we buy right!!

Jeremy has kindly agreed to free up some time to talk to Allthings.tv in the early part of next week. I do have a list of questions that I will be putting to Jeremy concerning the BrightCove platform/network, different monetization models available to content producers aswell as publishers thinking about launching their own channel and his thoughts on the future of video on the net in general.

Ever since I first started domaining, I was always curious about the DN Journal. Not so much because of what was written in it, but who it was written by.
I come from a few different career backgrounds, including, in no particular order, property, banking and investments and telecoms. None of these prepared me for the cutthroat industry of domaining.
I waltzed in after reading an article about earning hundreds and thousands by parking silly names like flashgames.com. I knew then that the industry was waiting for me to arrive and really shake things up and I did, in 2006, and promptly dropped alot of money by being cleverer than everyone else.

There is no doubt that John Van Den Berg has been a big player in the .tv after market recently. I had the good fortune of dealing with John in my sale to him of De.tv.
John, in our telephone discussion, came across as very polite, professional, good natured and to the point. It is something I had already heard about him from others who have had business dealings with him.
I asked John if he would be kind enough to give my viewers an inside look at doing things “John’s way”.

Whilst I am always going to have a strong affiliation to the .tv extension, it is not the only domain that I am invested in. I have some .com traffic domains aswell as some .mobi names.
My feelings on the .mobi land rush back in 2006 is that I gambled and gambled wrong. To me this was an extension that made little sense given that a .com could work just aswell for a small mobile screen as it could for the laptop and desktop, so why would anyone want to tap in a four letter extension on a tiny keyboard when three would do and when com was and is still king.
And so I registered just one domain, GHETTO.mobi. And to be honest, even that was more of a “just to say I was there” reg than anything else.
