Justin.tv and Justine have been livecasting for quite some time.  I met and interviewed Justin at the .tv relaunch party back in May.  Check out the link to yahoo news after the jump!

WHIR TV recently interviewed Richard, but the site only produced a transcript because the audio had some problems.  The interview covered Richard’s history, what Demand Media does, and where its going as a social media company.  WHIR TV described what Demand Media does as clever because it is essentially selling Web hosting and domaining in the form of a social media site for consumers.

I pulled some questions and responses that I liked in particular.  Check these out in addition to the link to the full interview after the jump!

Read OnAs many of you know, AllThings.tv is the most frequently updated blog that covers the .tv extension exclusively (though I admit I have been busy managing my personal .tv portfolio and developments and have had less time recently).

One of the more exciting aspects of the work is conducting interviews with some players in the domain and Internet video industries (all of which are on the AllThings.tv website as blogcasts and there are even some video interviews).  Soon I will be able to add none other than GoDaddy’s founder, Bob Parsons, to the growing list of AllThings.tv interviews.  Bob Parsons is a man many associate with domain registrations, especially after the GoDaddy series of Super Bowl ads run in past years…

Before James left AllThings.tv, he conducted an interview with Quinn Daly, VP of marketing and communications at Demand Media.  The interview was recently cleared for publication.

In this interview, James digs into the product development plans related to Me.tv, seeks some serious answers to the premium name pricing issues raised in recent weeks, and inquires about the marketing of the .tv extension.

I look forward to a follow-up interview with Quinn so please feel free to post any follow-up questions you might have and I will be sure to share those with Quinn during that interview.

Text of the interview can be found on the jump.

I had the pleasure to be able to get an interview with Dottie Gruhler, a .tv domain name owner, whose unbridled enthusiasm for the .tv extension is so plain to see, it makes me question my own loyalty to .tv!!

The reason for the interview is so that all our Allthings.TV audience can be made aware of an upcoming and exclusive .tv extension auction.

Unlike the recent TRAFFIC conference in New York which was heavily slanted towards traffic domains, this auction is all about potential – unlimited potential in fact.......

Why is BrightCove considered by so many to be the Number 1 video platform? Jeremy Allaire discusses his company and product lines in fine detail and also lays out his vision for the future of online video advertising aswell as his vision for the internet in general.

The first fifteen minutes of the Bill Gates and Steve Jobs joint interview from the AllthingsD conference. Some nice comments to and about each other aswell as a few amusing anecdotes. Hands up all of you who knew that Apple was born in 1975!!

Today I had the honor and priviledge of interviewing two big industry players. I interviewed Jeremy Allaire of BrightCove.Com and Brian Gruber of Fora.tv. Both CEO’s had positive comments to make on the .tv extension, although the interviews were not about .tv per se.

But Jeremy did agree that he was noticing a trend of more companies with a .tv extension signing up to the BrightCove network/platform and in fact coupled that with a very bold statement that 2007 would be the year that one will be able to watch tv quality tv on the laptop/desktop.
