At the 1st Annual Global .tv conference, several geo (geographic) domain names were highlighted and a variety of discussions related to geo development content and monetization strategies were discussed. It was also announced that http://www.Brisbane.tv went live this weekend.  While the announcement came as the conference wrapped up, I did have the opportunity to check out the website briefly.  It has a clean layout, is easy to navigate, and looks different than other Geo sites like Boston.tv.

If you even thought the dot tv extension was losing steam, ShoeTube.tv officially launched today.  The ShoeTube dot tv domain name says it all, its an online video channel dedicated to shoes, offering all of the social community features that many new sites offer today.  Check out the press release…

GoDaddy’s commerical invites you to visit their website to see the GoDaddy Ad with Danica exposing herself (deemed to hot for TV). You go to godaddy, click the banner, and a huge advertisement for dot tv sits just below the header sitting on one HUGE piece of real estate.

What do you if your popular television show that includes reports on deals, bargains, and shopping needs a website to aggregate all of the information from the show, its videos, and information about advertisers?  Obviously, we know that the dot tv (.tv) extension is the only place to create a presence because of its brandability.  Not everyone gets that, but Dot TV fever is catching on.
