AllThings.tv Image For 7 days, 4 bidders fought to place the winning bid.  After a total of 22 bids, the winning bid was for $18,454 placed by the 4th bidder who only started bidding today and had submitted a total of 7 bids before the dust settled.

This is great news for the .tv extension!

Now seller and bidder must go through the legal aspects of the transaction and we will watch for an update from Sedo.  To view the final auction details, click this link.

According to the seller, at the time of sale:
1) Cash.tv carries a $5,000 renewal price;
2) Cash.tv was renewed through September of 2008; and
3) Cash.tv receives ~500 unique visitors a month.

Yesterday, Afternic reported that eyev.tv sold for $201 USD to the person that made the only offer on the domain, which was placed in the “All Categories / Uncategorized” Category.

eyev.com is a random domain parking page.  Google shows 12,000 search results for the term “eyev”; none of which make any sense to me, so your guess is as good as mine as to why this even received 8X registration fee.

As of this morning, Narrowcasting.tv appeared in the top row of the Recent Sales column on the Sedo.com home page, selling for 575 Euros, which is approximately $793 USD.

My initial feeling was that this amount seemed a little high for an obscure name such as Narrowcasting, which I had never heard of, but thought I should do a bit more research before I dismissed it completely (and good thing I did).

There was a parking page at narrowcasting.com, so I pointed my browser to Wikipedia to see what I could dig up about Narrow Casting.  found no entry for “Narrow Casting,” but did find one for both “Narrowcasing” and “Narrowcast.” More on the jump…

Today, Juego.tv sold at auction on Sedo.com to the sole bidder.

The auction details can be viewed by clicking this link.
