What do you if your popular television show that includes reports on deals, bargains, and shopping needs a website to aggregate all of the information from the show, its videos, and information about advertisers?  Obviously, we know that the dot tv (.tv) extension is the only place to create a presence because of its brandability.  Not everyone gets that, but Dot TV fever is catching on.

...is hosted by Alan Mendelson who reports on the best deals, bargains, and shopping in the Southern California and Las Vegas areas.  Because of problems with dot com (.com) domains names being too long or pirated, the show expanded its presence on the Internet by registering a domain name that is shorter, to the point, and that viewers can quickly grasp.  What did the show register?  MoreDeals.TV!

I suppose if Alan loses his broadcast television show, his dot tv website will be the best place to let a successful Internet TV show continue!

The Best Deals TV Show hosted by Alan Mendelson has added several new web site addresses to help the audience get more information about the show’s content and its advertisers and consumer information.

One of the new sites that has been added is MoreDeals.TV and program host Alan Mendelson says this site “will be an experiment. We want to see if a dot-TV site can deliver the same punch as our dot-COM sites have delivered.

Information about the Best Deals TV Show can still be viewed via BestDealsTVshow.com and the original AlansDeals.com web sites. the TV show includes reports on deals, bargains, and shopping in the Southern California and Las Vegas markets.

“Frankly, we had a problem with the original web site AlansDeals.com with other sites that nearly copied or pirated the URL. So we added BestDealsTVshow.com and that seemed to end some of the confusion. But,” says Mendelson, “BestDealsTVshow.com is a long URL (web site address) and we needed something shorter, and to the point, that our TV viewers can quickly grasp. We hope that MoreDeals.TV will do the trick.”

All of the web sites deliver the same content including videos from the TV show, and Mendelson’s Money Tips and Money Alerts articles. There are also web site links for the dozens of advertisers and sponsors and products and services that have been presented on the Best Deals Tv Show.

In addition, Mendelson has launched another web site that offers more of his personal finance and investing tips including information about the gold market, travel and Las Vegas deals. That site is AlanMendelsonDeals.com and visitors to the site will find that the investment information is updated daily.

“With gold closing above $900 an ounce,” says Mendelson, “there are many investors who want the latest price info and investment information available and the web is the place to find it.”

Mendelson has been a long-time advocate for investing in gold and going back three years ago advised his viewers on KCAL-TV to look at the “new gold bull market.” Viewers who took his advice doubled or tripled their investment in gold over the past several years.

“But gold is tricky,” says Mendelson, “and the easy money has been made. Use caution now, as always.”

Mendelson also advises gold investors to consult the charts available at kitco.com especially the one year gold price chart. “This chart signaled the break out and the rally we are seeing now,” says Mendelson. “This is the chart that triggered the big run up of the last few weeks.” Mendelson uses charts to help his “technical analysis of the gold market.”
