After this weekend’s 1st Annual Global.tv Internet Expo, I made the decision to open the blog up to posts from trusted and established people who are just as interested in the dot tv extension (watch for future posts). In addition, I will be relaunching the AllThings.tv Forum to play a greater role in the site and to provide a place for people to share ideas, discuss development, and network with other dot tv enthusiasts.

At the 1st Annual Global .tv conference, several geo (geographic) domain names were highlighted and a variety of discussions related to geo development content and monetization strategies were discussed. It was also announced that http://www.Brisbane.tv went live this weekend. While the announcement came as the conference wrapped up, I did have the opportunity to check out the website briefly. It has a clean layout, is easy to navigate, and looks different than other Geo sites like Boston.tv.

I will be packing my bags tomorrow and leaving for the 1st Annual Global.TV Expo, which is an event that will be talked about for years to come.
On the weekend of September 19th, those with a serious interest in the dot tv extension will descend on Cincinnati, Ohio to not only discuss dot tv, but also to get our hands around the issue of how the Iternet landscape continues to shape and influence society and commerce. I spoke to Niko, one of the event organizers, and this event will cater to entrepreneurs, developers, and those fascinated by new media. I expect to see everyone from those with a significant investment in the dot tv extension to those that have secured a few premium names, which are being held for speculation or development.
The list of sponsors has grown considerably…

Status Update: Page 2 of 19 completed

For that reason, I am going to consolidate that list here by category and I will update it periodically so bare with me it is a work in progress. If know of a real, developed dot tv site, please leave a comment! Also, please send links to people who want to really know what is emerging from the dot tv extension…

When you get a chance, head over to http://www.Glamour.tv and check it out. The site appears to still be in its infancy as the company behind it learns more about the Channeling that women want. Another sign of dot tv’s growing strength as a brand extension.
